The University of Wisconsin - Madison Baja Team's purpose is
to provide students with hands-on experience and apply what they have learned
to real-world problem solving situations.This is accomplished by designing and building a prototype single seat,
off-road vehicle.Students learn about
the design process and manufacture components for the car.At the end of the year, the car is competed
against over 100 schools from around the country and the world.The car's design is judged by professional
engineers and competed in events measuring the performance of the vehicle
including a four hour endurance race.
